Because Dr. Mario is enthusiastic about educating other dentists, he currently holds an adjunct faculty position in the prosthodontic residency program at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York, as well as being the clinical director for Romero Dental Seminars, and a guest speaker in many major dental meetings all over the world.

 

He is also a believer in lifelong learning. Dr. Mario spends many hours taking continuing education courses, participating in monthly study club meetings, and reviewing dental journals weekly. He believes that these activities are essential to provide up-to-date and evidence-based dental care. Dr. Mario is also a reviewer for scientific journals like the Journal of Prosthodontics, the Academy of operative dentistry, general dentistry, and Decisions in Dentistry.

 

Regarding his personal life, Dr. Mario has been married to Joanna, his high school sweetheart, for 33 years. Together they have four children (Mario, Joanna, Sonia, and Alejandro) and three grandchildren (Lucciana, Catalina, and Alana).
